Casey Lucas, DVM

Dr. Casey Lucas (Randle) was born and raised in Birmingham, Alabama. From a young age she developed a love for all types of animals. After obtaining her undergraduate degree from Auburn University's College of Agriculture in Animal Sciences and many previous years of hard work, she was accepted into the Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine Class of 2018. Upon graduation she accepted a mixed practice position in Tennessee. From Tennessee she moved back to Alabama to be closer to her then fiance, Silas, and her family.

Dr. Lucas lives in Valley, Alabama with her husband, Silas, and their two dogs Zeke, the Catahoula, and Bernard, the Pug mix.  When she is not working, Dr. Lucas enjoys hiking with her husband, touring local breweries, gardening and improving her yoga skills. 

Her professional interests include surgery, internal medicine, ultrasonography, critical care, neonatal care and exotics. 

She is thrilled to be part of the veterinary team at Weems Road Animal Hospital and is looking forward to seeing your pets!
