Scott McDermott, DVM, CCRP

Dr. McDermott is a 1997 graduate of the University of Georgia and a 2001 graduate of The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine. Upon graduation, Dr. McDermott accepted a position within a mixed animal practice in north Georgia where he practiced for over 8 years before purchasing Weems Road Animal Hospital in July 2009. His areas of special interest include orthopedic and soft tissue surgery, dietary management and dental health.

Dr. McDermott is married to his wife, Amy, and they have four children, Matthew, Katie, Ben and Emily, as well as a dog and cat. Outside of work he likes spending time with family, practicing martial arts, working on cars and reading.
